Sunday TV

Two things:
ONE: Angry Mexican
...is on "Desperate Housewives," the ABC drama. This fine actor, Danny Trejo, is, by far, one of the greatest single character actors in action movies. He first picked up this moniker when my friends and I saw him in the movie "Desperado." He had no lines, but his ability to portray anger when faced with simple things like a pay telephone or a guy with a mop gave him a certain distinction. In any case, I'm glad to see his career taking off. Plus, he was a really weird character.
TWO: Target
...has reinstated its campaign to get you in stores on the day after Thanksgiving. The great thing about Target is that they will call you to wake you up so that you can make it in time to their stores. Click Here. Why is this great? Not because it'll get YOU up early to shop on "Black Friday" (unless you're into that sort of thing, in which case you're sick). It's great because it allows you to set up obscenely early wake-up calls for your friends and loved ones.
Did Johnny Funny-guy get drunk on Thanksgiving and pass out at two in the morning? He'd love to have Kermit the Frog or some stupid Cheerleader wake him up.
So please, spread the love.
